Designed by the French firm Dassault Aviation, the Rafale is a delta-wing fighter with high maneuverability equipped with a fully mobile canard plan. The Rafale's excellent performance in air combat, in use on aircraft carriers and in air-to-ground attack allowed it to achieve worldwide success.

Like the real aircraft, the Rafale 80mm from FMS has an attractive decor, a high level of detail and fully functional floorplans, making the aircraft truly unique compared to other 80mm electric turbine models available on the current market. During the development, to reproduce both the look and performance of the real aircraft, FMS has used its decades of experience to design this 80mm turbine Burst. Details such as the pilot, cabin layout, structural panels, removable armaments, additional tanks, in-flight refueling boom, optronic sensors and more are added to features such as LED navigation lights and landing lights, suspended and CNC-machined metal electric landing gear, functional duck planes and shutters.

Like all other FMS aircraft, the 80mm turbine-powered Rafale was designed to reduce assembly time to a bare minimum. With the help of screws, latches and quick connectors, experienced modelers can complete the assembly in just 5 minutes.

Functions such as delta mixing, sequencing of the landing gear hatches, flashing of the navigation lights, lighting of the landing light on the nose gear, slow exit flaps and others are all controlled by a centralized turntable. An 80 mm 12-blade turbine equipped with an inrunner 3280 “Platinum Edition” brushless motor and a high-performance 100 A controller make it easy to perform typical jet maneuvers with realistic sound and speed.
