The FrSky R9 and R9M radio control system is the first FrSky long-range system operating at the frequency of 900 MHz. The R9M module offers 4 switchable RF power outputs so you can choose the appropriate power for different flight situations. Compared to other FrSky 2.4GHz long range receiver like the L9R, the R9 receiver has a longer operating range, up to 10km and more. In addition, the R9 is also a redundant receiver that can connect to another receiver to ensure the safety of your model.

The R9 Slim+ OTA is designed with two antennas to enhance signal strength. Compact in design, it also has 6 PWM outputs and this long-range receiver offering the possibility of working with more external devices by integrating the SBUS and S.Port inverted outputs. 

The Slim + OTA 900 MHz R9 receiver uses the ACCESS protocol and supports wireless firmware updates via radio link, which makes linking to receivers even simpler. It also gives the opportunity to check the current version of the receiver firmware.
