Rexco Formula five Release Wax (340 g)

Rexco Formula five release wax, ideal for use for lamination in aeromodelling.

FORMULA FIVE® Release Wax is a wax-based mixture developed for high-gloss surfaces and excellent abrasion resistance.

-Containing silicone
-Resistant up to 100 °C
-Excellent release effect
-Carnauba wax with modern synthetic waxes. For glossy surfaces. Polishing properties after a drying time of approx. 10-12 minutes.

Application instructions from the manufacturer:
Carefully rub the wax on the clean surface of the mold. Allow the wax to remain on the mold until it is moderately dry (the wax will appear cloudy). Polish with a clean towel, we recommend our cleaning and polishing cloth (ref. 365-SHT) until a clear gloss appears. Repolish the entire surface of the mold with a cleaning towel. Note: Use 2 to 3 coats of wax for the first application only. Re-wax and polish if necessary.

Consumption: 20-60 g/m2 (the amount depends on the condition of the mold surface)

Important note about substrates :
This product contains hydrocarbon-based solvents (see under Additional information --> Safety Data Sheet). It also contains a small amount (< 2%) of aromatic hydrocarbons. Some plastic surfaces (e.g. polycarbonate, Plexiglas®, various varnishes, sealants) are dissolved by it so that an impression cannot be taken. It is essential to check it before use, either by referring to the resistance lists of the materials, or by carrying out a preliminary test.
